Mrs. Mubarak is strongly committed to address the problem of demand reduction in a innovative and comprehensive way by mobilizing and empowering the various sectors of the Egyptian society to develop a plan of action and set out to monitor its implementation in line with the UN Special Session.  Such an approach will constitute a quantum leap in the demand reduction efforts in Egypt and place it in a leadership role in the implementation of UNGASS resolutions in Africa and the Middle East. It will save the lives of thousands of Egyptian youth and children.
